About Tom Morgan
Thomas S. Morgan
Serving the Ector and Midland County area for 27 years, he attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned his law degree from Baylor University School of Law. Now practicing Criminal Defense and Family Law, Mr. Morgan previously served as Senior Staff Attorney with the Court of Appeals in Dallas, as assistant District Attorney in Bell County, Texas and as Administrative Assistant District Attorney in Midland County. He went into private practice in 1986. Throughout the years, Tom Morgan has tried thousands of cases by jury and before the court, many of which were high-profile, and has developed an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of law that only comes from seasoned professionals. He is recognized as an expert in his field, and his opinion is often sought by both the media and his contemporaries. Tom has written the book Texas Juvenile Law and Practice.
